We love our football, well I do anyhow, and we also love doing our bit for charity, and what better cause to support than Great Ormond Street hospital. Our client Football For Fans is hosting a match at Upton Park with a raffle to help raise funds for the children’s charity.

With the help of FFF’s friends Tony Cottee and Frank McAvennie they have put together an Ex-West Ham team to take on the Great Ormond St XI. Both myself and Martin will be playing against the Ex-Hammers who include:

Nigel Winterburn, Mark Ward, Steve Lomas, Steve Potts, Don Hutchinson, Stuart Slater, Rob Lee, Paul Allen, Ian Pearce, Kenny Brown, Allen McKnight, Geoff Pike, Paul Allen and a few more yet to be confirmed.

It is already set to be a great day, and everyone is welcome to attend – so if you fancy showing your support we’ll see you on the 6th June at Upton Park. We blew it. Last night was the big match, 1st place v.s 2nd and the result would certainly mean the division 4 title. It wasn’t our night.

Hitting the post, and more clearances off the line, we were outdone by 2 great goals on the break after going one up.

Now even if we win next week, we will have to rely on 1st and 2nd place losing to gain promotion. The future is not bright, nor is it orange.

Last nights 7 aside victory, and Breast Rummage Albion and Friendly Fire’s Draw means that Impact are now sitting pretty at the top of the table.

Last nights game was a great help to our goal difference winning a massive 14-0. It should of probably been more, but James missed at tap in, unbelievable!

The team at Impact Media will be once again playing at Upton Park, at the Frank McAvennie tournament run by our client Football For Fans.

After last years success of coming running up, we thought we would give it another go. Last year we took our 7 aside team (plus a few extras) and had a great day.

Getting changed in the west ham dressing room, and coming out of the tunnel for the game was fantastic and relaxing in the dressing room hot and cold baths was amusing – as before the game one of our players stumbled in fully clothed.

(The video stumbled a bit but i assure you it was much quicker)…. and although it looks like someone got a touch on the ball – he didn’t, when he swang his foot, he put the keeper off and the ball bounced in. It has taken almost a year for Lhiam the striker to finally admit it!
